❄ One

I can't believe this. I've been here for two weeks and the 'fairy tale' thing hasn't worn off yet. How many bridges do I have to cross, anyway? It was only one in the story.

[ There's the distinct possibility that Iceland misunderstood what it means to take on his fairy tale role. But he really, really doesn't want to be a goat boy any longer. ]

On top of that, one of my sweaters is missing. Just what kind of place is this? It better not be those geese who took it...

[It's a quick, but neat script]

It's not going to 'wear off'.

Were it so simple. However, we're here to make sure fairy tales don't disappear by reenacting them in full. How many times, I cannot say. I would assume until they teachings are reaffirmed in more people.

[Because she hasn't gone through it once.]

It does. We can only go with this until more is understood.

What's the name on the journal you received?

I see.

[So the bridge is literal.] Would you say you know your story well?

You'll be surprised.

Anyway, crossing the bridge will not be enough. Your 'brothers' have to and the troll needs to be confronted.

One way or another, the whole story will have to be told. Until then, we're not going anywhere.

Reading a book doesn't always internalize what it's trying to say.

Perhaps the same idiots who've decided to pass it off as some fairy tale with nothing worth benefit from it and skipped over it the first time. They would do the same and should they have children, perhaps they decide not to read it to them. They would grow up avoiding fairy tales themselves.

Kids tend to avoid reading if they can. They have to be genuinely interested.

They're not going online to read fables and fairy tales.

You like to argue for the sake of it, don't you?

Be glad we're not in person. I would be able to tell if you're lying.

[But she thinks he totally is.]

[The longer they write like this, the more he's proving her point]

They'll read because it's a necessity.
