[It's a cloudy mid-morning on THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, and the town is bustling as always. Many people are quite excited about the second batch of new arrivals; though they're not getting quite the celebration the first round got, they still might find themselves being greeted by bizarrely friendly folk.

Out of place is a number of geese scattered around town, each with their own little messenger bag packed full of rolled up parchment. They're putting the papers up all over, on fence posts and market stalls and storefronts, even stuffing them into mailboxes and leaving them on benches. Each paper is nearly identical, with large, blocky font and the occasional inky feather mark.

If stopped, the geese will be more than happy to talk at great length about how terrible this all is. Strangely, there appear to be a few other people and animals poking around as though looking for something, or acting a bit sullen for such an otherwise joyful day.]

Obviously, we had only uncovered who was doing it and why. However, who had given him the ability to do so? In truth, the one who had selected Adachi had also selected Namatame-san and Senpai to see what humanity truly desired: Emptiness, Despair, or Hope respectively.

We couldn't leave the job unfinished. Senpai lead us back once more into the television world to face Izanami-no-Okami.

[Well obviously Hope sounded the best, but... Izanami-no-Okami? He doesn't know who that one is. Maybe she just never appeared to them...]

What did Izanami-no-Mikoto possess to give humans the ability to cause such destruction?

Being the Goddess of Death helps. Besides that, she does bear a grudge since Creation, one where she vowed to kill one thousand men a day while her husband, in turn, have to vow to create one thousand and five hundred. If anything, it was probably better she tested humanity and see if they had the will to live still than keep her word.

What could've caused a grudge of that extent...? Did you all defeat her?

As the story goes, she died while giving birth to a Fire God and Izanagi ventured into the underworld to save her. When he found her, he was told not to look upon her. However, he did and immediately fled when he saw she had become little more than a maggot-ridden corpse. Of course, she sent many legions of demons after him in her ire and swore her curse as he sealed the gateway.

[She nodded] Though, it was Senpai who ultimately defeated her.

[Ow, getting your own husband to flee from you has to hurt.

Still, though.] I see... you speak of Senpai with much regard, and they do seem highly skilled. Who are they? [Does he actually think Senpai is Yu's name? Yes.]

[She smiled a bit] He is... a surprising individual. To be more accurate, he was our leader. All he had been planning on doing prior to the case was living in Inaba for a year. Still, when everything happened, he didn't back out. He willingly saw it through.

[Obviously, Naoto admired him.]

Depends... Another event similar occurred elsewhere, but I cannot disclose that information.

Since there's nothing such as Personas in my world- nothing that manifests in that fashion, rather- but they have such similarities... are we really in different worlds?

... During out discussion, I have been considering alternate universes. Being here and seeing people form other worlds could suggest that much. It's possible that events in the past resulted in Demon Summoning as opposed to Personas.

Alternate universes...? [w-what...] Events in the past... do you mean there could be time-travel involved?

[HEY RAIDOUS! HAHA REMEMBER THE TIME YOU ZAPPED BACK TO THE EARLY 20th CENTURY?]

Considering how gods and demons will play, it's possible.

I suppose some may do so when events reach a point they cannot be mended... [Blasted and Infernal Tokyo? ehhhhhh]

But doesn't that need the power to create a completely new world to splinter off?

It may, and it may not. The dying alternative could give the energy required to the line that survived. [She looks towards her books]

It would be a curious exploration in a science fiction novel.

Also...] What's science fiction?

Right. Science fiction is a genre. That means a book or movie focuses around science-oriented themes such as technology or space travel, but consists of imaginative elements. It can have some relation to current existing technologies, but goes beyond what's capable.
